The deep, distinctive, velvety smooth vocal keeps you wanting more from this fresh and unique talent. Growing up in the south east of England flora started singing and performing from a very young age. Self taught on the Ukulele at 12 years old. By the age of 14 they began writing lyrics, discovering and resonating with the pop/folk style in acts such as Billie Martin and The Oh Hellos, which flora influenced greatly. Listening to artists such as Ashinikko and Bad Suns has inspired them to experiment with lyrics that have more of a ‘pop’ feel to them. Attending Guildford’s ACM, flora is a real student of the arts, consistently honing the craft, the latest body of work is evidence of the ability to adapt and soak up musical knowledge.
